We were asked this week to discuss on the forum on how we will measure the success of teaching with the integration of ICT in the classroom. There are probably quite a few indicators that will show the success of ICT in our teaching some of which are listed below as my own achievements as a teacher:
- success on the learning outcomes that we are aiming to achieve
- observing students being actively engaged in ICT resources and experiences
- students work collaboratively and individually with ICT
- students feedback on their learning
Many other students had some great indicative measures of success in the class room with ICT. As a teacher though it is our role to ensure that we are constantly measuring students progress and adapting when necessary to ensure the best possible outcome.
