“How will you measure the success of ICT integration in your teaching?”… this is the ultimate question

We were asked this week to discuss on the forum on how we will measure the success of teaching with the integration of ICT in the classroom. There are probably quite a few indicators that will show the success of ICT in our teaching some of which are listed below as my own achievements as a teacher:

  • success on the learning outcomes that we are aiming to achieve
  • observing students being actively engaged in ICT resources and experiences
  • students work collaboratively and individually with ICT
  • students feedback on their learning

Many other students had some great indicative measures of success in the class room with ICT. As a teacher though it is our role to ensure that we are constantly measuring students progress and adapting when necessary to ensure the best possible outcome.
